Physical Description: Penelope inherited her father's appearance in the way that her face is an oval-round shape, instead of heart like her mother's. She has his blue eyes, and his inability to not be able to retell jokes properly.
She stands at the height of five feet, six inches, and she's rather thin for her physique, but not to the point of being unhealthy. She eats normally, and as she should for her age, but she can't help the fact that she doesn't gain weight as quickly as some people, though lately she's been trying more to do so. She's gained a little bit of weight within the past few months or so of residing within the London house/school, but nothing drastic.
Penelope has light brown to blonde locks that go to just about her shoulder blades, and her skin colour is fair, even if she does at least try to tan. Though it's usually to no avail - she usually burns to the colour of a lobster.
Personality: Penelope is a bright young woman, and had this war never broken out in the first place? She would have a bright future ahead of her in the Ministry with her intelligence level. However, given the circumstances, she's safely within the London school with the rest of the Muggleborns and Alumni of Hogwarts. She believes in the cause, and to remain safe means to remain hidden, but Penelope was never one to want to stay in one place for too long of a time period.
She's quite content with keeping her thoughts and opinions to herself and staying quiet, and always has been that way. The only person who ever seemed to truly understand her, besides her parents, was Percy Weasley. He was someone she could confide in completely, but that trust barrier had been built back up by the time it was clear of the Ministry's intent, and Percy's obsession with staying in the Ministry. Because of this, it has become more difficult for Penelope to place her full faith in anyone, and has returned to not saying much unless it is called for in the situation.
Penelope is also a passionate person when it comes to things, or people, she loves, as well as being incredibly driven. If there is something she wants, she'll work to attain it and to then keep it. Her marks while in school were her trying her best, and although they were not always the top scores, as long as she knew that she tried, she didn't beat herself up over it.
Penelope cares about people quite a bit, even through her naturally soft-spoken nature. She's always been incredibly light-hearted, and wanting to expect the best out of people, but knowing very well that those things sometimes just don't happen, and you must accept it. She's always willing to put herself on the line if it's for someone else and they're in pain, especially in these times in which things are more difficult. She's a brilliant witch, and considers herself to be a fairly brilliant person, as well. She has her ups and downs just as everyone else, she cries if she's upset, and she gets flustered when she's angry.
Personal History: Penelope Anne Clearwater was born during the early morning hours on 26 November, in the year of 1976 to Christopher and Jennifer Clearwater, both Muggles. By this time, they had already managed to become settled in a home they had purchsed when Jennifer had found out that she was pregnant with their first child just two years after their union in matrimony. Chris had been shocked to find out of his wife's condition, but they had been saving up to purchase a home, anyways, and everything fell into place from there.
Once their daughter was born, they would read to her at night before she went to bed. Stories of magical lands, of princes and princesses, tfrogs that if you kissed them they would turn into a handsome prince. From an early age, Penelope learned to believe in fairy tales, and that those sorts of things could come true. That you could meet someone and at that very instant know that you're truly destined to be with them for all of eternity. Her parents weren't opposed to her believing in such things, as they had started her on doing so. By the time she was four years of age, she had an imaginery pet frog by the name of Bernard, and by the third week of her knowing him, she had kissed him upon the head (with much convincing from his part!) and he had turned into her prince before her very eyes. Her parents couldn't have been more pleased by her vivid imagination. And a keen love for the art of music, in which included the piano and her own voice, but it has always remained as a hobby for her.
Three years after that, her younger brother, Trey, was born. Only at the age of seven, Penelope had been strongly opposed to the idea while he was still within her mother. But by the time he was born? She wanted to do nothing more but than to coddle the young boy, and take care of him. And so she did. Up until the age of eleven, at least.
She had been having strange things happen to her. Her pencil would float away from her, the pages of her books would ruffle without any wind around. And an explanation soon came in the form of her Hogwarts acceptance letter, requesting that she start at their school this year. Her family was astonished that such a world existed, but for Penelope? It had been like those fairy tales were coming true again, only this time it was real and not just only in her imagination.
Penelope started her first year at Hogwarts in the year of 1987. Once there, she had been promptly sorted into Ravenclaw for her keen mind, but nothing remotely more exciting than learning about her new classes occurred until the year of 1991, when Harry Potter came to Hogwarts. She only knew of him from what she had read in books about that night, and what other students, purebloods, had told her since they had grown up with this historical knowledge. Penny felt for the young boy, though, since he didn't seem to be so sure of himself when she passed him every now and then in the hallways.
By her sixth year, she had already made Ravenclaw Prefect, and she had formed a relationship with Percy Weasley. He was someone she could talk to and confide in, and he was so different from the other boys. Needless to say, it hadn't taken Penelope too long to fall hard and deep for the boy. It was also during this year when the Basilisk petrified her. By the time she was healed by Madame Pomfrey, she had barely any recollection of what had happened to her during that time frame.
Seventh year passed, and she was still going strong with Percy Weasley. By this time, her biggest worries were exams approaching, and the threat of Sirius Black escaping. But she remained as calm as possible with her future in sight of her, and Percy beside her. That was, of course, until he got the job at the Ministry, and one of the most defining moments of her life was before her. Percy had become so consumed by his work at the Ministry that he couldn't even see what was right and wrong anymore, and Penelope felt pushed away. He was always thinking about his job, and so she had no choice but to painfully break it off with him about six months into his new career.
She had spent the years between then and now working at Flourish and Blotts. But ever since the war has slowly been approaching, she promptly relocated to the London house/school to remain safe, and to hopefully help out with some of the teaching, there, as if she even steps a toe outside of it with her bloodline? She's bound to be found by the Snatchers.

Hopes: I would love for Penelope to have some sort of contact with Percy if one ever pops into the game, since the tension there would be magnificent, I think! I also would love for her to develop relationships with the rest of the Weasleys that she has contact with currently, perhaps growing closer as friends and such since she did date their brother for some time. I would love to have her in the final battle, too, but as she's at the London house/school, I assume she'll be able to, anyways!
